The thematic exhibition “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Dwelling in Tranquillity — Reinventing Traditional Gardens” offers a contemporary perspective on the traditional Chinese garden. Following the first session of the thematic exhibition talk, Grace Cheng, the curator of the exhibition, alongside five contributing local artists, Tim Chan, Fung Wing Lam, Keith Lam, Hanison Lau, Kenny Wong, and the design advisor Enoch Lam, will share in this second session how they drew inspiration from traditional Chinese gardens and created new interpretations of garden design in their artworks.
This activity accompanies the thematic exhibition “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Dwelling in Tranquillity — Reinventing Traditional Gardens”. The exhibition is organised by the Hong Kong Palace Museum and solely sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. It is the first Hong Kong Jockey Club Series thematic exhibition presented at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
