Hong Kong Palace Museum

This workshop is inspired by the ancient Chinese gold and silver treasures donated by the Mengdiexuan Collection, a selection of which is now displayed in the “Passion for Collecting: Founding Donations to the Hong Kong Palace Museum” exhibition.

What you will get from this workshop:

Discover History: Understand the development and characteristics of ancient gold and silver objects.
Learn to Craft: Process silver into wire and learn filigree techniques such as pinching and soldering.
Get Creative: Design your very own masterpieces under the guidance of the instructor.

The workshop is open to participants of all skill levels. No prior experience is required.
Suitable for individuals aged 13 or above.
