The thematic exhibition “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Dwelling in Tranquillity — Reinventing Traditional Gardens” offers a contemporary perspective on the traditional Chinese garden. Grace Cheng, the exhibition’s curator, will elucidate her journey of curation of this project. She will be joined by contributing artists Li Chi Tak, STICKYLINE and Wong Chung Yu of three of the exhibits, who will explore how their works reflect the philosophy and design of traditional gardens through kinetic, multimedia, and sound installations.
This activity accompanies the thematic exhibition “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Dwelling in Tranquillity — Reinventing Traditional Gardens”. The exhibition is organised by the Hong Kong Palace Museum and solely sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. It is the first Hong Kong Jockey Club Series thematic exhibition presented at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
