In recent years, there is an interest in exploring Hong Kong’s unique architectural beauty and diversity, from vernacular architecture and nineteenth-century colonial buildings to cutting-edge designs by local and international “starchitects”. Leading this field in the city is “Open House Hong Kong”, a not-for-profit initiative started by a group of young, passionate Hong Kong architecture enthusiasts.
Join us for a conversation with Helen Fan and Bob Pang from “Open House Hong Kong” on their vision of engaging the public’s interest in Hong Kong architecture’s intelligence and art. They will also explore architectural design, aesthetics, history, heritage, liveability, and sustainability, promoting urban culture.
All are welcome. Prior registration required.
