We aim to engage community members in museum operations while celebrating their role as important stakeholders.
The Hong Kong Palace Museum Docents are an important bridge between visitors and the exhibitions. Through various forms of guided tours and talks, they engage with visitors from diverse backgrounds, including school and community groups, as well as members of the general public. To equip docents for this important task, the Hong Kong Palace Museum provides comprehensive professional training focusing on the museum’s thematic and special exhibitions, Chinese art and culture, Palace Museum culture, and museum operations.
Recruitment of new members will begin as required. Further details will be provided on this page in due course.
