To complement the new exhibition "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: YUAN MING YUAN — Art and Culture of an Imperial Garden-Palace” at Hong Kong Palace Museum, "The Eight Great Crafts" will show audience more about the constructions of Chinese architecture. An eight-episode micro-documentary examines the “eight great crafts” of architecture in ancient China, including earthwork, masonry, scaffolding, carpentry, tilework, plastering and wall painting, polychrome painting, and papering.
