The art of papercutting is a folk craft deeply rooted in the Chinese history. Its appeal lies in the meticulous manipulation between positive and negative space, giving a feast for the eyes. Through experimenting simple papercutting and design techniques first hand, you will discover the intriguing patterns and new ways of interpreting their meanings behind the cultural relics unearthed in Sanxingdui.
